‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Cast Josh Hutcherson Heartbroken That Filming For Franchise Has Ended; ‘It Pains Me Every Day,’ Says Jennifer Lawrence’s Boyfriend On-Screen

With four films under its belt, it is understood how the "Hunger Games" cast members were able to establish a bond. The franchise has been divided into four films with the two remaining parts of "Mockingjay" coming out this year and next year. Now that filming is officially done, Josh Hutcherson did not waste time in expressing his sadness.

"I miss it so much. It pains me every day a little bit when I wake up, that we're not filming anymore," he told People magazine during the Teen Choice Awards 2014 where he took home the award for Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend onscreen admits that filming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Parts 1 and 2 was tiring as it lasted for 10 months.

Nonetheless, he says that the cast members did not want the production to end: "It was really tiring, but we were so sad to see it end."

He added that the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" cast ended production with a party: "It was honestly hard to say it was a celebration because we were all so sad that it was coming to an end. It was so great to see everyone there letting loose, but it was more sad. I don't want to be melancholy, but we weren't ready for it to be finished yet."

Hutcherson will be next seen in thriller drama "Paradise Lost" wherein he will be playing the role of a young surfer named Nick. Claudia Traisac will be playing the role of his love interest Maria.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Part 1 will come out on November 21, 2014 whereas "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Part 2 will follow on November 20, 2015.
