Moto X+1 Release Date Leak, New Leaked Photos, Specs, And Rumors: Motorola Stays Quiet About New Flagship Smartphone Also Called Moto X2 [PHOTO]

The Moto X+1 release date has been leaked, along with new pictures, specs and details. 

The Release date of Motorola's newest flagship Moto X+1 has finally leaked for a Sept. 25 release date with according to reports claiming to be from insiders at Verizon Wireless.

We first started hearing about the Moto X + 1 back in April, when an image of the smartphone leaked. In late July, new images of the handset appeared online and provided a closer look at the Moto X + 1's ultra thin body, metal frame, and specs.

Release of Motorola's newest flagship Moto X+1 has been finally confirmed for a Sept. 25 release date with Verizon Wireless, according to reports.

"Sources of ours have confirmed to us that Verizon is currently expecting the new Moto X by September 25," an insider told iDigitalTimes.com.

According to a Droid Life report, the much-awaited next-gen smartphone from Motorola is said to be released together with the Moto 360 smartwatch. The handset could arrive sooner on "other carriers" before Verizon, though the unveiling dates wouldn't be that different at all.

Leaks of the new Moto X+1 specs indicated that it will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.45 GHz, which indicates that the unit's capacity could come toe to toe with other current flagships like Samsung Galaxy S5, OnePlus One, HTC One M8 and LG G3.

The Moto X+1 includes a 5.1-inch display in 1080p, 2GB of RAM and 32GB Internal memory.

The device is also rumoerd house a 12 MP rear camera, a 5MP front snapper, and a 2900mAh li-ion battery. It comes with Android KitKat 4.4.4 OS out of the box. It also is said to come with wood or plastic back.

It should be noted that these specs have not been officially confirmed. 

The smartphone is alleged to cost US $400.

All of this information has come thorugh leaks, Motorola has yet to release an official statement or confirm anythign about the specs, price, or release date for the Moto X+1. Check back often for more information as it becomes available.
