Vin Diesel Was Serious! ‘Inhumans’ Movie 'Fast-Tracked’ For Release Date On 2018? Marvel Plans An Entire Cosmic Universe Beyond Phase 3! Successful ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Formula Tapped!

The "Inhumans" movie is being "fast-tracked" by Marvel! You can't argue with success, and Marvel has a lot of that right now. "Guardians of the Galaxy" was their biggest test to date, and when they passed that with flying colors, sky's the limit for the reigning king of comic book movies.

The recent Vin Diesel tease in his Facebook account is suddenly gaining ground as reports have emerged that Marvel is actually "fast-tracking" the project. Possible release date is after "Avengers 3" which is projected to be May 2018.

The report from Collider is that "The studio is happy with the existing script by Joe Robert Cole, and now the next logical step is to take it out to filmmakers."

The report elaborates the development formula of GOTG:

"According to our sources, Marvel plans to handle The Inhumans in the same way they handled Guardians of the Galaxy.  For those who don't know, the original draft of Guardians was written by Nicole Perlman, who was part of Marvel's writing program.  That draft then went out to filmmakers.  When James Gunn came on board, he added his flavor and details to the story, but the characters, story structure, and beats from Perlman's draft remained in place.  As Adam explained in his recent editorial, directors are brought on board to execute a specific vision."

The movie is still on the verge of initial planning but this is the virtual greenlight we are looking for. The project is definitely a "GO!"

Collider cautions, though: "To be clear, we don't know the details about this script, and we don't know the directors the studio has on its wish list.  What we know is that Marvel is ready to move forward on The Inhumans, and we're hearing it will take one of the dates on their current schedule."

"The Inhumans" won't likely pre-empt "Avengers 3" which is suspected to take the May 2018 release date. Marvel might assign the Nov 2018 release date for the Inhumans to lay the groundwork for the next phase. The May (2019) release date is usually Marvel's flagship movie-it might be the Hulk's much awaited solo sequel!
