‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Bans Parents From Watching Her Valentine’s Day Film; Mom Admits To Seeing Red Room Of Pain

Although relatively a newcomer in the movie industry, "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Dakota Johnson is no stranger to how films work because of her parents - Golden Globe-recipient Don Johnson and Academy Award-nominee Melanie Griffith.

However, regardless of how proud they are for their daughter's accomplishments, the 24-year old reportedly banned her parents from watching "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"I don't think I'm going to see it. Dakota was like, "You guys cannot come. There's no way," she told Indie Wire.

Despite receiving the plea from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" star, the 56-year-old was able to visit her daughter on set: "So we're not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the Room of Pain. I did go in there and check it out."

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will give life to the characters in E.L. James' much talked about novel. "Once Upon a Time" actor Dornan will be playing the role of business magnate Christian whose traumatic past prompted him to be domineering in several aspects of his life.

The blonde beauty, on the other hand, will act as Anastasia, the innocent student who captivates the attention of Christian.

Griffith likewise shared her two cents to Indi Wire regarding her daughter's work: "She is amazing, so good. It's just so beautiful to see her doing this. She had her mom and her dad and her grandmother and she's just taken us all and thrown us away. She's like, "Here I am."
Johnson, who is believed to be dating Matthew Hitt in real life, will reportedly appear next in the upcoming flick entitled "Black Mass" which will also star Johnny Depp.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will be released on Valentine's Day 2015.
