'American Horror Story' Gears Up For Season 4; Casts World's Smallest Woman

US series "American Horror Story" season 4 is nearing and an addition to the casting have been made in the person of the world's smallest woman, Jyoti Amge.

Amge, who hails from India, stands at 2 feet, 0.6 inches tall. While "American Horror Story" season 4 is her first acting role, she has been featured on a documentary entitled "Body Shock: Two Foot High" as well as in a Big Brother-style reality series called "Big Boss 6," reported The Guardian.

Ryan Murphy, the show's creator, took to Twitter to announce the news of the casting. He posted a picture of Amge alongside Emmy-nominated actress Jessica Lange and captioned it: "Jessica and our new cast member Jyoti Amge... the world's smallest woman."

Lange has been part of all the "AHS" seasons, though always playing different roles.

Just recently, news about Patti Labelle joining the cast had also been made. LaBelle will play the mother of Gabourey Sibide's character.

"American Horror Story" season 4 is titled "Freak Show" and is set in one of the last remaining freak shows in Florida during the 1950s, according to The Telegraph.

Entertainment News revealed that Murphy hinted vaguely about the series' latest content, saying: "If you look historically [at] what happened in the year 1950, there's some more clues in that year. It's a period piece. We try to do the opposite of what we've done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I'm very excited... [she] has always wanted to play a Marlene Dietrich figure, and now she gets to."

A report from TV Line also revealed that there will be some unraveling of "murderous secrets of Twisty the clown killer."

Among the previous cast members who will be back for the anthology's latest season are Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson.

The FX production will premiere its latest season in October.
