Legend Of Korra Book 3 Voice Actors On The Finale, Plus Leaked Red Lotus Quote?

As fans get closer to "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 finale, there is a lot hype surrounding the episode.

Recently, IGN spoke to "The Legend of Korra" voice actors, and as expected, there was high praise for the finale episode.

"The finale of this season is ridiculous," said actor David Faustino, who plays Mako.

"It really just keeps building," added Janet Varney, the voice of Korra.

“It doesn’t have quite this supernatural bang at the end [compared to last book], but it’s so cool in a different way," said co-creator Michael DiMartino.

“You might… this finale might blow you away even more," said Bryan Konietzko. "I mean, in a way it’s – the emotional stake might be higher [than Book 2’s finale]. It’s intense. […] It’s a different scale, but it’s very intense.”

"The Legend of Korra" Book 3 finale will be released online Friday, August 22 with a two-part finale titled "Enter the Void" and "Venom of the Red Lotus."

In addition, a new quote has appeared on Tumblr that could foreshadow the Red Lotus and their direction in the series.

“I was once asked what it means to enter the void. I will tell you. An airbender may meditate for a hundred years trying to detach herself from the world, but she cannot do it. Humans cherish human life, and by that they are bound to this world. The only way to abandon the world is to abandon one’s humanity. New growth cannot exist without first the destruction of the old. The void is found in the sowing of death. From that death springs life on the wind.”

This quote is based off of Guru Laghima, so it is presumed to be from a later episode of Book 3, possibly the finale.
