'Sword Art Online' Season 2 Episode 7 Release Date: One Month Delay For European And American Release [ PHOTO]

Sword Arts Online Season 2: SAO Season 2 episode 7 is set to be aired on August 16 according to the site Otakutale. The leaked images for the 7th episode have been released on the anime's official website.

Episode 7 is about the Crimson Memory.  Otakutale provided the synopsis of the anime:

"The mysterious man that is killing people is a survivor from Sword Art Online. Kirito begins to feel ill, which worries his sister after discovering him on a gaming news site. Shinon on the other hand is annoyed about the recent match with Kirito and swears that she will defeat him in the finals. She also complains about Kirito to her friend Kyouji, who remarks she isn't usually this heated up about anything."

1 year after the SAO incident, Kirito is approached by Seijiro Kikuoka from Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Department "VR Division" with a rather peculiar request.

That was an investigation on the "Death Gun" incident that occurred in the gun and steel filled VRMMO called Gun Gale Online (GGO). "Players who are shot by a mysterious avatar with a jet black gun lose their lives even in the real world..." Failing to turn down Kikuoka's bizarre request, Kirito logs in to GGO even though he is not completely convinced that the virtual world could physically affect the real world.

Kirito wanders in an unfamiliar world in order to gain any clues about the "Death Gun." Then, a female sniper named Sinon who owns a gigantic "Hecate II" rifle extends Kirito a helping hand. With Sinon's help, Kirito decides to enter the "Bullet of Bullets," a large tournament to choose the most powerful gunner within the realm of GGO, in hopes to become the target of the "Death Gun" and make direct contact with the mysterious avatar.

A summary of the plot reads" One year after the SAO incident was resolved, Kazuto Kirigaya is adjusting to a normal life once again as best he can. He thinks all that death is finally behind him, until he is approached with some startling information. In the wildly popular pro shooter MMO Gun Gale Online, an ominous player has shot players in the game, and the same players mysteriously turned up dead in real life. Kazuto feels himself being pulled in as if by the shadow of SAO and agrees to investigate. He must now tread back into the dark world of his past with the help of the troubled, ice-cold sniper Shinon as he searches for the player who only refers to himself as "Death Gun."
