‘Dark Knight Trilogy’ and ‘Inception’ Director Christopher Nolan Continues To Entice With More Photos Revealed From His Upcoming Space Epic ‘Interstellar’

"Dark Knight Trilogy" Director Christopher Nolan teased photos from his upcoming outer space film "Interstellar" via tumblr today.

Fans of the director that made art out of Batman will still have to wait until November 7th to see his newest project, but that hasn't stopped the buzz around "Interstellar."

The images from Nolan's newest project come from Entertainment Weekly's Fall Preview issue, True to form, he hasn't revealed too much about the plot in fear of spoilers. The article does however give a taste of what to expect this fall.

The most enticing plot information exposed in the article actually comes from "3rd Rock From the Sun" actor Jon Lithglow:

"It's a thrilling interaction between grand spectacle and intimate, intense relationships," Lithgow told EW. "More so than many films of this genre, Chris found a way to make fantastic drama out of cosmic ideas and current human anxieties."

Scans of the issue have been uploaded online via tumblr and it already looks like Nolan intends to continue to impress audiences with his set production. The article mentions that the watery space location was created in Iceland and the spaceship was built in the same Hollywood lot as the Batcave from the "Dark Knight Trilogy". The article also reveals Nolan's dedication to making space real for the actors by projecting swirling black holes of stars on huge screens outside of space ship during filming.

It would seem that by this statement, Nolan is set to impress with a new kind of space epic. The pressure is certainly on however as this project follows the wild success of his own "Dark Knight Trilogy" and the Academy Award winning film "Gravity." But given Nolan's own excitement and childhood adoration for space-set science fiction genre films, one wouldn't be surprised if "Interstellar" ends up being a masterpiece. For now we can only hope for more tidbits about the production until the film's November 7th release.
