‘NCIS’ Season 12 Spoilers: Tony DiNozzo Works On New Orleans Case; Cast Mark Harmon Grateful For Show’s #1 Status

"NCIS" season 12 spoilers reveal that Tony DiNozzo will visit the New Orleans set to work on a case, as Mark Harmon expressed his gratitude for the show's number one status.

Michael Weatherly talked "NCIS" season 12 spoilers to Entertainment Tonight-Canada when he said that his character will be in New Orleans to team up with Scott Bakula's character in the "NCIS: New Orleans" series.

"That Scott Bakula is a young guy who's got a lot of promise," Michael Weatherly quipped. "A young buck, a little green. Sure, he's been captain of the Enterprise, quantum leaping around, but this is crime scene investigation stuff."

Scott Bakula headlined the hit TV series "Quantum Leap" from 1989 to 1993 as Sam Beckett, and also as Captain Jonathan Archer of "Star Trek: Enterprise" from 2001-2005.

While Mark Harmon (Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs) did not really reveal "NCIS" season 12 spoilers, he nevertheless expressed his gratitude that the fans continue to support the series even if they are already heading into season 12.

"[Considering] where this show came from and how hard this group has worked collectively, it's very nice to be recognized," he said, per ET-Canada.

"It feels good for someone to say you're the number one show in the world and it's deserved, this group has worked hard, but aside from that it's really about what are you going to do next," he said in a report by Belfast Telegraph."We're successful because of our fans, they're very loyal fans and they find us.

Mark Harmon said that because the show is on all the time, people in the hospitals, or those who are having a rough time, get lost in the series.

"And that's been an interesting reward, because that has really nothing to do with the show as much as it does with helping people get through some rough time. That's nice," he added.
