Moto 360 Price Confirmed At $250 And Shows Up At Best Buy, Could This Be The Best Smartwatch Today?

It is only a few days until the IFA event in Berlin, and right now a number of Android fans are already asking the Moto 360 price, a wearable from Motorola which is expected to make a debut during the annual showcase.

And it looks like, fans will need to prepare more money.

According to a report by Android Police, the Moto 360 smarwatch appeared on Best Buy with the tag 'coming soon'.

In the report, the Android smartwatch was listed at $249.99 which confirms previous rumors about the Moto 360 pricing. Interestingly, the page listing has been taken down by Best Buy, which either means it made a mistake in posting the Moto 360 or the retailer is just promoting the wearable device.

In the report, the Moto 360 allegedly supports Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a first among Android smartwatches. We just have to wait until September 4 to confirm whether this feature is true.

As listed by Android Police, here is the specs of sheet of Motorola's first ever smartwatch based on the listing:

  • Physical dimensions: 1.8" x 1.8" x 0.4"
  • Weight: 2.1 ounces
  • Case: Stainless steal w/ plastic back
  • Band: Horween leather band with metal latch
  • Processor: "Texas Instruments"
  • RAM: 512MB
  • Display: 1.5" diagonal LCD, 320 x 290

    • Pedometer
    • Heart rate
    • Ambient light
  • Connectivity

It is notable to point out that the Moto 360 will be the first ever Android Wear smartwatch that gets the traditional rounded design. Most smartwatches today are either square or rectangular in shape.

According to previous rumors, the device will come with either a metal or a leather band. Are you already excited about the Motorola Moto 360 or would you just wait for the iWatch to launch first before deciding which wearable device to buy?

The next few months would certainly become a busy week for tech geeks, enthusiasts and the mobile industry in general. Expect the best smartphones, tablets and wearables this year to be announced in the next couple of months.
