The 2012 stealth action video game replaced Motocross Madness, a racing video game from Xbox 360 in the list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for August 2014. Motocross Madness was available for free from August 1-15.

And for the second half of the month, Xbox 360 gamers with Xbox Live Gold membership can get "Dishonored, a video game created by Arkane Stuudios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

 As one of this month's free games for Xbox Live Gold members, the title will be available only until August 31.

Also included in the list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for August 2014 are 2 Xbox One titles. According to Major Nelson's official site, players can get Xbox One games "Crimson Dragon" and "Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut" for free this month.

Aside from the free games for Xbox Live Gold members, the Deals With Gold offering this week is also something that Microsoft console users should take advantage of.

A recent post on Major Nelson revealed the complete list discounted games offered for the week 6 of Deals with Gold and it include some of the most popular games of today.

For instance, Grand Theft Auto 5, as well as the previous version, the GTA 4 are now available for a cheaper price. GTA 5 gets 50 percent off while gamers who like to avail the Grand Theft Auto 4 will get 75 % than its original price.

Various Call of Duty games and dd-ons both for Xbox One and Xbox 360 are also on sale for the week 6 of Deals With Gold. Call of Duty Black Ops I and II are both discounted.
