The Jennifer Lopez Book Fans Have Been Waiting For Has A Release Date; "True Love" Set To Hit Stores On November 4

The Jennifer Lopez book fans have been clamoring for titled "True Love" will hit stands on November 4.

A report on Entertainment Online said that the 45-year-old Jennifer Lopez dropped the news on her Twitter account, saying: "Hola Jlovers, my first book #TrueLove will be released Nov 4."

According to Penguin Publishing, the Jennifer Lopez book, the singer-actress' first, will tell the story of her "most defining periods - the transformative two-year journey of how, as an artist and a mother, she confronted her greatest challenges, identified her biggest fears, and ultimately emerged a stronger person than she's ever been."

The Jennifer Lopez book will be very personal and will tackle some poignant events in the singer-actress's life, making the actress hesitant to push through with its publication at first.

"It started off as a diary of the year I went on tour... and when I was on the road, it became something else," Lopez reportedly told People in May.

"Writing 'True Love' has been a deeply cathartic, personal and vulnerable experience," Lopez said on Billboard magazine. "If it were not for the love and courage given to me by my children, this story wouldn't have been possible. While I struggled with the decision of whether or not to release this book, I recognized that if it could touch even just one person then it would honestly become one of the most fulfilling endeavors of my life."

The book will be published in both English and Spanish languages and will be distributed by Celebra, a division of Penguin Group.

She channeled her unparalleled work ethic, fearless honesty, perpetual creativity, and artistic vision to realize an absolutely beautiful story that will surely touch and inspire readers around the world," said Celebra publisher Raymond Garcia about the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer.

A portion of the profit from the Jennifer Lopez book will reportedly be allocated to the Lopez Family Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by JLo and her sister Lynda Lopez which is " is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women and children."
