Tim Shaw Of Former Tennessee Titans Players Suffers From ALS, Tim Takes The Ice Bucket Challenge!

Tim Shaw a former Tennessee Titans player confirmed that he has ALS or the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis on the video posted by FOX Sports in YouTube on August 20.

"A year ago I was playing football, I recently been diagnosed with ALS," said Tim Shaw in a video.

"I am here today to stand and fight with all of you against the disease," he said in the video before dumping himself an ice water as part of the ice bucket challenge to fight ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

As stated in the rules of challenge, Tim Shaw of former Tennessee Titans player should challenge other people to do the same.

Tim, challenged the Titans Organization, head coach James Franklin of Penn State, the school's football team and his Clarenceville Michigan community to take part of the said challenge.

According to Reuters, Tim was drafted by the Carolina Panthers from Penn State, he also played for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and decided to leave the Titan in 2013.

Aside from Tim Shaw of former Tennesse Titans player who suffers from ALS, Pete Frates a former Boston College baseball player confirmed that he also been living with the disease since 2012.

The Ice bucket challenge went viral on social media with top CEO's, celebrities and people who take part of the challenge.

The ice bucket challenge is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head or donating a $100 to a charity who is creating an awareness of the said disease.
