‘Harry Potter’ Movie Characters List Has An Addition! JK Rowling Releases New Tale Featuring Celestina Warbeck, The ‘World Famous Sensation’ [LISTEN]

Despite ending the "Harry Potter" novels in 2007, JK Rowling proves that she can still surprise her readers. Recently, the British author added a brand-new character to the "Harry Potter" movie characters list.

Apart from writing updates on the lives of Harry, Hermione, and Ron, Rowling similarly penned the story of Celestina Warbeck, a singing sorceress whose father was a Wizard and whose mother was a Muggle.

According to Rowling, even if Celestina did not appear in any of the seven books, she has always been a part of the "Harry Potter" movie characters' world. In the "Daily Prophet" series that she previously wrote, Celestina made an appearance.

As per Rowling's tale, Celestina showed vocal talent at a young age but that time, there was no school which could foster both her magic and singing skills.

When she got in to Hogwarts under the Gryffindor house, her mother made sure to cultivate her talents by sending many letters to the institution urging it to create a choir, a dancing class, and even a theater club.

Celestina eventually becomes a "world famous sensation" who appears most of the time with banshees as her back-up. Some of her hit singles include "A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love," "You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me," and "You Stole My Cauldron but You Can't Have My Heart."

She also has a colorful love life after marrying three times. The mother of one has millions of fans which also include Mrs. Molly Weasley, Ron's mother. However, she opts not to purchase tickets of Warbeck's show as reach staggering prices when sold in the black market.

As per Harry Potter Wikia, Warbeck has a soft spot for good causes. She often lends her vocal skills to fundraising events.

In the story's introduction, Rowling reveals that she got the character's name from a friend whom she worked with in London. She says that the name is apt for a "glamorous witch."

It is unknown whether the new character will be appearing in the upcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off flick entitled "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
