'Sword Art Online' Season 2: One Month Delay For European And American Release , Available On Hulu For US Audience[ PHOTO]

"Sword Art Online" is an incredibly popular growing franchise, starting with books, but expaning into manga, anime, and video games. Season 2 is airing right now, here is all there is to konw. 

The anime, which adapts the first four books of the series, is published by Aniplex, produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Tomohiko Ito with music by Yuki Kajiura.

The series is streamed on Crunchyroll and Hulu,  The anime has been licensed in North America by Aniplex of America, and an English-language dub premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami programming on July 27, 2013 and concluded on February 15, 2014.

"Sword Art Online" season one has been available on Netflix in North America since March 15, 2014

"Sword Art Online II," premiered on July 5, 2014.[43 The second season is an adaptation of volumes five and six of Reki Kawahara's original light novels that cover the Phantom Bullet arc.

According to Anime.MMGN, a sequel to Sword Art Online has been announced following the ending of Sword Art Online: Extra Edition, which is a special OVA (Original Video Animation) episode that was aired just before the new years.

SAO Phantom Bullet will be based upon the light novels. According to Inquistr, new female character named Sinon will join Kirito in GGO to help unravel a series of mysterious deaths that also happening in the real world.
