NBA Trade Rumors: Kevin Love Trade Is A Go! Minnesota Timberwolves Will Keep Both Andrew Wiggins And Anthony Bennett!

The big trade is about to become official. There are some slight changes to the original details but in essence, it's still the same principals: Kevin Love is going to Cleveland, Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett are going to Minnesota.

In addition, Cleveland will also send Miami's first round pick, which Cleveland got, ironically, for LeBron James.

There were various rumors that Minnesota wanted to acquire Philadelphia 76ers forward Thaddeus Young to fill the void left by Kevin Love but that trade will not involve Anthony Bennett. The T-Wolves chose to keep the Canadian forward who was the first overall pick in the 2013 Draft.

There is also another reported trade after this one, but the focus now is on the Cavaliers and their impending Big Three: LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and now Kevin Love. They will be flanked by a veteran line up of Mike Miller, Shawn Marion, Anderson Varejao, James Jones, Brendan Haywood and young players like Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavedova.

How will this roster thrive in the NBA? ESPN explores the possibilities:

We're talking about the world's best player at one forward spot with arguably the best rebounding/deep-shooting big man ever to play the game at the other forward position. What can't they do, especially when factoring in a great shooter/scorer at point guard in Kyrie Irving? But the question for coach David Blatt is not 'what style best suits our talent?' but rather 'what style best suits this roster while also matching up better against our top competitors?'"

Despite a relatively older lineup, the best option for the Cavs is a fast, passing game-something Coach David Blatt is very familiar with.

"The bigger keys are the passing skills of James (perhaps the best passing small forward of all time), the very good passing skills of Love (especially half court) and the almost elite-level of passing skill that Varejao has, possibly being the third-best passing center in the NBA behind Joakim Noah and Marc Gasol. The Cavs could start a group with three great passers (at a minimum), four great shooters and at least three great scorers (Irving, Love, James), all with the best playmaker in the game to create shots when needed. The only way to slow them down is if they choose to do that on their own. Problems could come if they run isolation actions, stationary dribbles and slow-developing post-ups where every defender knows what is coming; in short, the Cavs will still be a good offense if they play this way, but they won't be nearly as elite."

The Cavs will be an exciting team to watch-and winning, by any means, is not ugly at all.
