‘Sinister Six’ Movie: Mysterio And Kraven Part Of The Roster? Director Marc Webb Confirms Images In The Credits Tease But Final Lineup Not Set!

The "Sinister Six" movie will be Sony's next movie after "The Amazing Spider Man 2." Director Marc Webb has confirmed some of the Easter Eggs in the end of credits of his movie.

The special edition of the "The Amazing Spider Man 2" DVD from Target has a special disk called "Something Sinister This Way Comes."

In that disk, Webb confirms some details on the Sinister Six. A Youtube video uploaded by user "Amazing Spider Man" recorded the audio and the transcription below is provided by Comicbook.com.

Marc Webb: "So we've got this company called Blur, Tim Miller to start designing the elements of the Sinister Six, the hardware of the Sinister Six, which is something that's hinted at in the movie."

Blur Productions, if you can recall, is the same company that brought us the Deadpool test footage. Tim Miller was the director tapped for the Deadpool movie which is still in Fox's freezer.

Webb's comments on the Sinister Six: "It's tricky, because we're not exactly sure if all those people are going to be in the Sinister Six or even in the next movie. Like the Mysterio mask, I just think looks really cool. And I love Mysterio, but we haven't all agreed on it, so but I just forced it in because I thought it looked cool."

So Webb does confirm that it is Mysterio and Kraven being referenced in the easter eggs at the end credits. However, it does not automatically confirm that the villains being teased will be in the "Sinister Six" movie. For one thing, Webb is not the director of Sinister Six. That designation belongs to Drew Goddard of "Cabin in the Woods" fame.

But Webb has already expressed his preference for Kraven the Hunter. In a previous interview with Comicbook.com, he replies to the query on which Spider Man villain stands out for him:

"Kraven. I like the idea of Kraven. The Vulture. Ock. I always thought the idea of Mysterio was interesting. Maybe Scorpion. But really, Kraven I think is kind of interesting."
