Barcelona will face off against rival Elche on Sunday, placing two of La Liga BBVA's closely followed teams against each other.

Barcelona, entering its first match of the season, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is expected to toughen up his squad for the upcoming game, Goal.com reports.

"Luis Enrique is not as demanding as people say," revealed midfielder Rafinha, the website reports.

"No, he's much more demanding that that."

Elche, also entering its first match of the season, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Elche manager Fran Escribá said starting against Barcelona is a great scenario.

"At the Camp Nou, I'd like to see the team be just as competitive as they always have been, not give our opponents time to think, show defensive solidarity and be courageous with the ball," Escribá said, according to the site.

"Something like our performance against them in the penultimate game of last season."
