Game Of Thrones Season 5 Filming [UPDATE]: Arya Stark Actress Maisie Williams Instagram Reveals She Passed Her Driving Test, ‘Opening Doors’ For New Roles

"Game of Thrones" Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams passed her driving test during season 5 filming, according to her Instagram. Maisie Williams revealed that this opportunity will open new doors to her as an actress.

"I did it," the "Game of Thrones" actress announced on Instagram, with a photo of her holding up a "Practical Driving Test Pass Certificate."

According to Express UK, the Arya Stark actress has been taking lessons in between filming "Game of Thrones" season 5.

Maisie Williams revealed why she was so keen to pass her test: "I have been sent through so many scripts where my character drives and it's been such a heart-breaking moment when I realise I can't go for it.:

"'So many more doors will be opened for me now."

"When the examiner told me I had passed I said no way and then jumped out the car, hugged Dave my RED Driving School instructor and nearly cried," Maisie added.

"I then told the examiner that I was going to buy a car. I am so relieved my test is over but very scared to go out driving by myself for the first time now."

"I think Arya would love to drive a car," she joked. "Maybe that way she would have been home in time to save her family in the last series!"

According to Cinemablend, "Game of Thrones" season 5 will air spring 2015.
