The Legend Of Korra Co-Creators On The Book 3 Finale Before Season 4 Begins

The epic Book 3 finale for "The Legend of Korra" has finished, and no one is more proud of the season 3 ending before Book 4 than co-creators Bryan Konietzko.

On Konietzko's Tumblr, the co-creator took the time to discuss some of the most epic moment of "The Legend of Korra" season 3 finale.

"This whole exterior action sequence between Korra and Zaheer is co-executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos' storyboarding/fight choreography masterpiece, especially the 20-plus-second continuous flying shot," wrote Konietzko on Tumblr. "It was a herculean undertaking, and he had some help cleaning up a few of the scenes by Owen Sullivan (on this one) and Shaun O'Neil. If you didn't already know it, Joaquim is a force of nature when it comes to action animation!"

"I would also like to give a huge thanks to the Korra crews at Nick in Burbank, and in Seoul at Studio Mir and Studio Reve for a stellar season and finale. And thank you to the fans! Thanks for sticking with this show after the bumpy ride in Book 2, and the hide-and-seek network shenanigans this summer. Keep cursing the Bryke for making you feel the feels and smell the real poop. We'll be back with Book 4 as soon as possible. Hopefully it won't be released only on smartwatches or some other inane platform."

During a recent Nerdist interview, the pair also confirmed that the current situation with Book 3 had no effect whatsoever on "The Legend of Korra" Book 4, the final season of the series. Reportedly, production is nearly complete for Book 4, although they are uncertain when or where it will premiere.
