Prometheus 2 Release Date May Be Postponed Due To Blade Runner 2? Director Scott Reveals Some Details Of The Martian Movie Production

Director Ridley Scott has been busy with a quite number of movie projects, including The Martian, the Blade Runner 2 and Prometheus 2.

The 76-year-old filmmaker revealed in the interview of Entertainment Weekly that all of the projects are already written, but there are some issues with scheduling the production.

In the article on Movie web, the filmmaker confirms that Blade Runner 2 will start its production after the Martian movie, which may not leave much time for him to make the production of Prometheus 2.

According to the article on Movie Web, way back in May, the Alcon Entertainment officially asked Harrison Ford to play the role as Deckard in the Untitled Blade Runner Project, and the filmmaker confirmed that the said actor will be involved.

"It's written and it's damn good. Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years - despite the accident (referring to Ford's Star Wars injury). So yes, that will happen," Scott said.

The Martian movie, however, will start its production in November, Scott confirmed that he will shoot the movie, which stars Matt Damon as an astronaut who becomes stranded on Mars in Budapest.

"I think I'm going to shoot in Budapest. And we'll probably shoot in Wadi Rum for Mars. I like Wadi Rum-it's the best view I've ever seen of what could be Mars," said Scott in an article in Entertainment Weekly.

The Untitled Blade Runner Project will come to a theater in 2014, while Prometheus comes to theaters on March 4 2016.
