New "Game of Thrones" season 5 spoilers reveal that actress Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on the HBO series, may not go nude for an important scene filmed in Croatia. Read on to find out what's holding the "Game of Thrones" season 5 producers back.

According to spoilers, George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series calls for a scene in which Cersei Lannister runs naked from a church. "Game of Thrones" season 5 is currently shooting in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where producers have already gotten permission and the necessary permits to film.

However, the "extremely powerful Church Of St. Nicholas" is not prepared to give producers permission to film Lena Headey naked in public, CinemaBlend.com reports.

According to TMZ, Church Officials told the film commission not to give out the permits, and they obeyed.

Described as an "iconic moment from the book" that is "crucial to the story line," the producers have not "figured out a workaround."

There are options, but few of them include Lena Headey being naked in Croatia. As CinemaBlend.com suggests, "Game of Thrones" season 5 showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss could get Headey to wear nude-colored underwear and shoot from angles that would suggest Cersei's nakedness.

Producers could also choose to shoot the scene somewhere else - but this costs money, and lots of it.

Lastly, they could completely cut the scene from "Game of Thrones" season 5, but this seems unlikely given its importance to the plot.
