New York Comic Con 2014 Tickets Will Be Sold In Waves: Official Poster Released Celebrating Batman's 75 Anniversary [PHOTO]

NYC Comic Con is Coming 2014. Here is all the info.

The site describes the event saying:

"New York Comic Con is the East Coast's biggest and most exciting popular culture convention. Our Show Floor plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television. Our panels and autograph sessions give Fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators. Our screening rooms feature sneak peeks at films and television shows months before they hit either big or small screens. And with dedicated professional hours, New York Comic Con is a market place, bringing together the major players in the entertainment industry. New York Comic Con is the second largest pop culture convention in America and the only one that takes place in the comic book, publishing, media and licensing capital of the world - Gotham City."

In terms of getting tickets the site says:

"You will be able to purchase your NYCC Tickets in advance of the show online. Tickets will be rolling out in waves, so be sure to check back often to see which tickets are on sale. You will also be able to purchase tickets from many NYC area comic shops soon as well. A full list of comic shops that will have tickets will be provided the week before they go on sale. Here's an insider tip: Tickets sold out last year and none were available to purchase onsite. Buy your tickets early to secure your spot at the greatest NYCC yet!"

In other news, the official poster for NYCC will feature Batman, as it is the 75th anniversary of the character.

The New York Comic Con drew more than 130,000 people to the Javits Center last year. This year the show is Oct. 9-12 and will include a weeklong pop-culture festival held throughout the city.
