Moto 360 Release Date, Price, And Specs: Motorola Announces Launch Event As Best Buy Accidentally Leaks Price And Specs [PHOTO]

The Moto 360 release date is coming soon. Motorola plans to unveil the highly anticipated new smartwatch at the Moto Launch Experience on September 4. Best Buy accidentally revealed the price and specs of the the Moto 360 eariler this week.   

Until now, details on Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch have been mostly speculative and unconfirmed. It will be the first circular smartwatch, with a more fashionable appearance than its contemporaries. It also comes with a leather and metal wristbands. 

The leaked price from Best Buy confirms earlier reports that the smartwatch will cost 249 dollars. For comparison the Samsung Gear Live is only $200, while the LG G Watch costs $229.

Based on the Best Buy listing, the device will have a 1.5-inch backlit LCD touchscreen. The display resolution is 320 by 290 with 205 pixels per inch.The new smartwatch is waterproof for 30 minutes up to three feet deep, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Best Buyconfirmed that it accidentally leaked specs and price details of the unreleased Moto 360 smartwatch.The company removed the page on August 18 a day after the Moto 360 price and specs were divulged to the public.
