‘American Horror Story: Freakshow’ Adds Matt Bomer To Its Cast; ‘Magic Mike’ Actor To Ditch Heartthrob Image For A ‘Warped’ Role

"American Horror Story" season 4 spoilers and cast updates are continuously being released and one of them is Matt Bomer's appearance on the show. It is confirmed that the "White Collar" actor will be joining Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, and the rest of the cast members.

Matt Bomer's "American Horror Story: Freakshow" is not the first time that he will be working with show creator Ryan Murphy. He previously appeared on "Glee" as Blaine Anderson's (Darren Criss) elder brother, Cooper. He likewise played the role of AIDS victim Felix Turner in HBO film "The Normal Heart" which Murphy also directed.

However, much to the dismay of his fans, the 36-year-old actor appears to be booked for just one episode because of his filming commitments with upcoming flick "Magic Mike 2." Nonetheless, Murphy revealed that he convinced Bomer through a text message.

"I try to get him to do everything for me. I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.' It's very...warped," Murphy said making fans speculate whether Bomer would play the role of an evil carnival character.

As we stated, this isn't the first time the actor has worked with Ryan. Additionally, Matt had a guest star on the Fox show Glee, which was one of the first times he showed off his vocal chops as Blaine's older brother Cooper. Then he took on a supporting role as AIDS victim Felix Turner in the HBO movie The Normal Heart, which was directed by Ryan Murphy.

Another character to watch out is the world's smallest woman, Jyoti Amge. In one of the photo teasers posted by Murphy on his Twitter account, the 20-year-old girl was seen with the smiling Lange.

"American Horror Story: Freakshow" airs on October 8 on FX.
