Star Wars Battlefront 3 may include single-player mods, which may prevent some players from going online, Gameranx reports.

"If the game does support mods, at least for single player, it could deter some players from going online," the website writes.

"Even so, games like Minecraft and Skyrim continue to have huge numbers of players thanks in part to the active modding communities that continue to support them. The original Battlefront and its sequel are also played to this day and continue to be modded."

Star Wars Battlefront 3 developer Electronic Arts, DICE, Bioware and Visceral Games are currently visiting locations to shoot scenes for the upcoming game, which will incorporate next-generation graphics features, Christian Today reports.

The game's release date version may allow gamers to control Capital Ships and Frigates, rumors on gaming forums are suggesting.

Star Wars Battlefront 3 location "Tatooine" has been revealed by DICE officials.

Developer Daniel Cambrand recently mentioned that it is based on the African country of Tunisia, Christian Today reports.

Electronic Arts chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen revealed that Star Wars Battlefront 3 will have a summer 2015 release date.

"[Star Wars Battlefront 3] will most likely come out around the same time that the Star Wars [sequel] moviesstart to come out, probably in the summer of '15," he said, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

Planet Tatooine, one of the Star Wars Battlefront 3 trailer gameplay locations demonstrated at the E3 2014 conference, will be making its way into the game's upcoming release date version, Gameranx has confirmed.

Star Wars Battlefront 3's release date version is not directy tied to that of the next Star Wars film Episode 7, Game Spot reports, bringing the game's trailer and gameplay into question.

The game's developers may include game modes Bounty Hunt, Armada and Wookie Warrior, Gameranx reports.
