LMFAO's Redfoo Was Attacked At An Australian Pub; Was The Singer 'Glassed' Because Of Jealousy?

LMFAO's Redfoo was attacked in a Sydney bar, according to reports. The one half of the electronic pop duo was reportedly "glassed" by a "jealous thug."

According to Yahoo news, LMFAO's Redfoo was attacked suddenly and suffered from a cut above his right eye after someone allegedly threw a glass at him while he was partying at the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Double Bay, Sydney on Thursday.

"All of a sudden I was just talking to some girls and... bam, something hit me in the head," Redfoo said on Australian morning TV show "Sunrise."

"He looked at me and taunted me and winked his eye, just to say 'I got you' or something," he continued.

The motive behind LMFAO's Redfoo's attack is still unknown and the "Shots" singer, whose real name is Stefan Kendal Gordy, claimed that there could be no other reason but jealousy.

"I have no clue on why you could do such a thing, I can only think of the word jealousy," said the singer. "It's one of the big questions I have. Why, why would he do that? Why would somebody throw a glass at someobody?" he continued.

Redfoo reportedly tried to chase after the guy who hit him but the hotel's security personnel and one of his friends stopped him.

After the incident, Redfoo was treated for the wound he got and went to the police to report.

According to reports, the man who hit Redfoo with a glass was a 21-year-old. He reportedly attempted to flee the area but was stopped by guards and was later arrested and charged with malicious wounding, but was granted a bail.

Redfoo, who is more popularly known as one half of American act LMFAO, is currently spending time in Australia as a judge on the Australian franchise of the talent show "X Factor." He is the youngest son of Berry Gordy Jr., the founder of Motown Records.
