‘Game Of Thrones’ Cast Kit Harington Wishes A ‘Good Death’ For Character Jon Snow; Author George R.R. Martin Has No Problems Killing Off Characters To Make Story Unpredictable

With the upcoming "Winds of Winter" release, some are wondering whether Jon Snow will die in the story. After all, "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin hinted about upcoming major deaths. Acknowledging that his character might indeed be killed, "Game of Thrones" cast Kit Harington further discussed the possibility.

In his interview with the British Glamour magazine, the 27-year-old said that "everyone wants a good death." He added that parting ways with co-stars whose characters have been killed wasn't easy all the time. He emphasized, however, that deaths are "parts of what makes our show our show."

Ever since "Game of Thrones" cast Kit Harington joined the HBO series, he admitted to being recognized whenever outside: "I do get recognised a lot - more than most, actually." He said that some fans would ask him for spoilers which Harington would never give.

Wetpaint reveals that at some point in the book, Jon was stabbed although it wasn't clear if he died. Some fans argue that Jon shouldn't be killed off for the mystery of his parents is yet to be solved.

The books' author also appears to have no hesitations in killing off people in the story especially if doing such will break people's predictions.

"I've said in many interviews that I like my fiction to be unpredictable. I like there to be considerable suspense," said the writer to Entertainment Weekly when asked about Robb and Catelyn's death.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is expected to air in April 2015.
