Pokemon Distribution Events: Shiny Gengar, Charizard, And PokeBall Vivillon Announced!

Before the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, a variety of distribution events have been announced for X and Y.

First off, the special PokeBall Vivillon has arrived for Europe and Australia for Pokemon X and Y. This online distribution event is only available until September 8, so be sure to download it in time!

This Vivillon is the same one as the distribution events that occurred at Gamescom earlier this month, as well as the North America distribution for the opening of the online Pokemon Center.

In addition, Germany is getting a new distribution event via Gamestop stores across the country.

According to Serebii, this event offers a special serial code that allows X and Y players to download a Charizard carrying a Charizardite Y (for Pokemon X) or Charizardite X (for Pokemon Y).

Reportedly, there is some confusion over the exact date for this distribution event, as the official site says it began on Monday, August 25, while Global Link says it will run from September 2 to September 30. Stay tuned for more updates.

Lastly, for those of you in love with Mega Evolution, a very special distribution event is being offered in Japan as part of the promotion for Halloween.

Reportedly, a Level 25 Shiny Gengar will be available across unconfirmed stores in Japan with the moves Shadow Ball, Sludge Wave, Confuse Ray and Astonish. It will hold a Gengarite. While the locations are unknown at this point, this distribution vent will run from September 13 to October 14.
