West Ham United will face off against rival Southampton on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

West Ham United, coming out of a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce said Mauro Zarate has 'matured' enough to put his controversial days behind him, the Daily Mail reports.

"The lad has grown up and matured, I remember his loan spell at Birmingham six years or so ago," Allardyce said, according to the site.

"He's been to Italy and back to Argentina since then and scored some goals, I think he looks at his age a mature player with a lot of quality in the final-third which is something different from what we have."

Southampton, coming out of a 0-0 tie with West Bromwich Albion, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman wants to bring in two new players before the end of the transfer season, FTB Pro reports.

"I don't go and talk about names about players," he said, according to the site.

"In two positions we are trying to bring in new players and we hope to bring in this week."
