Marvel's 'Agent Carter' New Cast Members Revealed: 'Dollhouse' Alum Enver Gjokaj And 'One Tree Hill' Star Chad Michael Murray To Be Series Regulars

Marvel continues to garner interest as it announces the final cast members for upcoming Captain America spinoff, "Agent Carter." The newest editions include "Dollhouse's" Enver Gjokaj and "One Tree Hill's" Chad Michael Murray. They will be series regulars alongside Hayley Atwell.

For a reminder of what "Agent Carter" entails, one need only revisit their "Iron Man 3" DVD special features. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the drama, from showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas (Resurrection), stars Atwell and takes place a year after the events of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger.' It follows Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans) girlfriend Agent Carter (Atwell) as she builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice."

IGN reports that Gjokaj, who was actually a cop at the end of Marvel's "The Avengers" will play the "sweet and honorable Agent Daniel Sousa, a true war hero who has risked his life many times - resulting once in a crippling leg injury." This is great news for Gjokaj, who has been making cameos on "The Walking Dead," "Community," and many other shows.

"One Tree Hill" fangirls are probably the most excited for the return of their beloved Lucas to primetime television. Chad Michael Murray will be taking the role of Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) Agent Jack Thompson. "SSR Agent Jack Thompson will meet Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) when she takes on a new role in NYC," says Entertainment Weekly.

Marvel fans will probably have until winter to wait for "Agent Carter," as the show is intended to fill the gap between the half seasons of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Until then, Marvel comic universe fans can still head to the theaters to catch "Guardians of the Galaxy," which has just been crowned king of the summer box office. Or, if they want to hold out a little longer, they can catch "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." when it airs its season two premiere on September 23rd.
