Upcoming Motorola Phones 2014: A Moto-Made Mobile Phone Recently Passes Through FCC, Is This The Moto X+1 Flagship?

There are not many upcoming Motorola phones for 2014, but the ones which are on queue have certainly captured the interest of the industry.

Aside from the Moto G 4G and the Moto E, the only smartphones which Motorola would unveil this year (as far as we know) are the Moto G2, the Moto X+1 and the alleged Nexus 6, otherwise known as Shamu.

But now, let's get to the upcoming Motorola flagship.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered device is already preparing for its launch as it passes through the FCC in the US.

Given the dimensions of the device revealed in the FCC listing, this could just be the Moto X+1, but we can't be sure unless we see it in the flesh.

Motorola's event during the IFA showcase is on September 3, and we can't wait to get our hands on the new flagship.

2013 was a big year for Motorola as it unveiled one of the most popular flagships at that time with the Motorola Moto X. The then Google-owned company used the same design and packed midrange specs to another offering, which has been one of the most sold Android midrangers today, the Moto G.

As a result, it is just fitting for the now Lenovo-owned manufacturer to develop successors for both the Moto X and the Moto G.

In previous reports, the manufacturer may also be prepared to finally unveil its Moto 360 smartwatch which has become the standard when it comes to wearable design. In fact, even before the Apple iWatch is unveiled, the Moto 360 is already considered an immediate rival.

IFA is just a few days away and a lot of manufacturers are expected to take part. That's why you better make sure to check back here for more updates.
