‘Avengers Age of Ultron’ Cast: 'Secret Avengers' Formed By Captain America At The End Of The Movie? Black Panther, Dr Strange, Captain Marvel Included?

The speculation continues to fly from the report that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will show Captain America forming a new team. Will it happen? Who will be part of the new team?

One of the alarming prospects is that the rest of the current Avengers (aside from Cap) would not return for the next installment. Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and the Hulk will probably not be part of the movie. This is still speculation as stated in Movie Pilot:

"But who else? It's also been confirmed that Black Panther's turf, Wakanda, is the source of the Vibranium sought after by Ultron. If Marvel follows the same character format as it did for Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy, then we may expect to be introduced to Black Panther post-origin.

So we won't get the full story on how Black Panther came to be, but we'll get introduced to the meat of his story, and this could lead to his recruitment by Captain America.

The same could go for Doctor Strange, who will be getting his own film for Phase III."

"Avengers" is the ultimate superhero team in Marvel and almost all the major heroes in the Marvel Universe have been members at one point, at least in the comics. Even Spider Man and Wolverine have had their tenure.

However, the copyright limitations will place a cap on all the possible combinations on the big screen.

Movie Pilot continues the theory:

"Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and maybe a few favorites from Phase I...is that it?"

There's Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver introduced in "Age of Ultron."

"Finally, we have the last 'likely' scenario: Secret Avengers. It could be that Steve Rogers gives up the mantle of Captain America to unite the spec ops group known as the "Secret Avengers" with Black Widow, Hawkeye and (hopefully Moon Knight). Other teammates could of course include Nova, War Machine, Valkyrie, and even Ant-Man, among many others."

It may be exciting to see an abundance of characters on screen. The formula has succeeded last summer (with "X-men: Days of Future Past") but Marvel is a stickler for story continuity with every movie within their shared universe. Thus, there will always be the question of how smoothly they can weave these characters into the fabric.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be shown on May 1, 2015.
