Cee Lo Green Tweets About Rape; Pleads No Contest To Drug Charges

Cee Lo Green has reportedly tweeted about rape after pleading no contest to drug charges against him early this week.

"F*** You" singer Cee Lo Green posted his thoughts about rape on his Twitter account and said: "People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!" The tweet was later deleted but was preserved elsewhere.

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! So WITH implies consent," the singer added.

In another tweet, as a reply to users' comments, Green said: "When someone brakes on a home there is broken glass where is your plausible proof anyone was raped"

"So if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?" said Green in another tweet to a comment.

After a series of rage-laden tweets, Green deleted all the posts in his account and later deleted the account itself.

Before deleting his account entirely, Green posted an apology and a few more tweets which read:

"Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context."

"I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I'd never condone the harm of any women. Thank you."

The singer, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, is facing charges for allegedly giving a 33-year-old woman a drink with ecstasy without the latter's consent. The incident reportedly happened in 2012 in Los Angeles.

The woman reportedly recounted the incident as waking up in bed next to Green, with no recollection of what happened the night before.

The Grammy-winning singer was sentenced to render community service and undergo three years of probation. According to People magazine, Green, was allowed to render 45 days of community service through MusiCares Foundation.
