What happened on "Rizzoli & Isles" last week?
On "If You Can't Stand The Heat," last Tuesday's episode, "A man dies suspiciously in a bathtub full of ice during a heat wave. Angela tries to stay cool by drinking a spicy tea, but the beverage brings with it unforeseen romantic consequences."
What should we look forward to for tonight's mid-season finale? Warning: spoilers ahead!
According to Inquisitr, "Rizzoli & Isles spoilers indicate that a high-profile prosecutor is being accused of murder, but Jane doesn't think he was behind it. Meanwhile, Maura is facing meeting Jack's daughter, and Angela gives her some insight in how to handle kids. As TVLine notes, the prosecutor is played by Battlestar Galactica star Jamie Bamber. From the sounds of things, he will still be in the mix of things when the show picks up again with new episodes. As for the return of season 5, it doesn't seem that anything is set for certain. The show's executive producer Jan Nash tweeted that a firm date doesn't seem to be determined yet, but it will be 'February... ish.' It has previously been indicated season 5 will consist of 15 episodes in total, meaning that there will be three more episodes to come this winter. That would follow a similar pattern as to what fans saw in season 4, when 12 episodes aired until September and then the show returned in late February for a small handful more. The Rizzoli & Isles spoiler preview shows someone falling into the water from a bridge while Maura screams 'Jake!' Is he going to be a goner? It looks like it may be that way. Enver Gjokaj, who plays Jack Keystone, has landed a gig in the new ABC series Marvel's Agent Carter, according to Deadline. The show will also star One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray. Maura has never had the best of luck when it comes to her dating life, and now it's looking dire once again."
