‘The Amazing Spider Man 2’ Gets The ‘Honest Trailer’ And ‘Everything Wrong’ Treatment! [VIDEOS] Screen Junkies And Cinema Sins Make Unprecedented Video Swap!

The summer movie that critics have worn thin, "The Amazing Spider Man 2" is now getting a double treatment from the creative video critics.

The film has recently been dubbed as the Worst Sequel and the Worst shared universe set-up. Now they have the 'brutally' honest trailer from the folks at Screen Junkies.

The Honest trailer was meant to poke fun at the movie and essentially critiquing the movie in the form of a trailer complete with a notorious "trailer voice." However, the trailer voice is not here at this video because they decided to make a unique twist.

Screen Junkies decided to swap tasks with Cinema Sins and their "Everything Wrong With" series. They pointed out 151 Cinema "Sins" in the course of 13 minutes, but they had a bonus round for every time Sony would use the product placement opportunity. It's their film, so they have a right to do that but the point is they might have abused that right.

Both of the videos point out many of the common criticisms on Spider Man including the characterization. Peter Parker's back and forth with Gwen and even the constant appearances/apparition of Gwen Stacy's dad. There was also some strange and illogical situations.

As pointed out, when the alarm for Oscorp was triggered, it also opened the door for the Goblin suit. Speaking of the Goblin suit, how did it become an exact for fit Harry Osborn in terms of height, weight, etc.

One might say that the videos, specifically the "Everything wrong" series is sort of nitpicking. Most moviegoers are not exactly looking for plot holes and there is quite an audience who would claim that they actually enjoyed the movie.

These videos are all meant for humor after all, and they are released long after the movie's run (since they need actual footage, they have to wait for the DVD release). It would not have any effect on the box office anymore.
