The Moto X+1 release date is coming soon. The official unveiling will be tomorrow at  Motorola's September 4th event in Chicago. Even a day away from the unveiling new leaks about the phone are surfacing.

The most recent series of leaks comes from Phandroid, who found series of documents straight from Verizon that show the varieties of Motorola's latest gadget. The tech giant is planning to release the Moto X+1 under another name, which is simply "Moto X". The device will come in black and white, and will have two possible skin varieties: bamboo and leather.

According to the link Verizon is only selling the 16GB version, there is no news on the 32GB version.

The new phone will also include the new Moto Maker feature that allows customers to customize their smartphones with wood leather, 20 colors, and several skins. It was origonaly thought that only AT&T would have the Moto Maker service, but according to the latest leak Verizon will also offer the service.

Phandroid is reporting that one of its sources sent the site a screenshot from Verizon's inventory system. The smartphone is listed as "the new Moto X" and not Moto X + 1.

The new Moto X is expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD AMOLED 5.2 inch display and run Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. It will be powered by a 2.2-GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 2 GB of RAM. Its camera capabilities are said to include a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies.
