Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date Is Here, Meet The Most Powerful Samsung Smartphone Ever

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date is finally here, and a lot of Android and Samsung fans would surely love to see and feel the new phablet.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Korean manufacturer unveiled it 5.7-inch phablet during its Unpacked event at the IFA showcase in Berlin earlier today.

And just like what rumors have been pointing out, this Android smartphone is certainly a beast, and probably the best Samsung device ever.

The phone surprisingly gets the same faux leather back design, but now it has a metal frame similar to the Galaxy Alpha. Inside the smartphone runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

At the back of the device is a 16MP primary camera which is similar in resolution with that of the Galaxy S5. However, this time the Koreans managed to include optical image stabilization to the sensor to provide better images and video clips. In front lies a 3.7MP secondary shooter which should be enough for selfies and video calls.

Also on board is LTE Cat 6 connectivity, a new and improved S-Pen, a 3,220mAh battery, and Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

Unfortunately for fans of outdoor phones, the Galaxy Note 4 does not come with water resistance, just like the Galaxy Alpha which was announced a couple of weeks ago.

With the amount of work Samsung has put in this smartphone, we can assume that this would be the rival of the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6, which will see the light of day by the end of the year. The question now is whether these specs are enough to impress more consumers.

Some color options include Frosted white, Charcoal black, Bronze Gold and Blossom Pink. Pricing has not been detailed yet, but as for actual release, the Android-powered handset may arrive in markets before the month ends.
