OnePlus One Release Date Will Be Overshadowed By New Android Flagships From Samsung, Sony, Etc.

The OnePlus One is one of the smartphones which are awaited by a lot of Android and CyanogenMod fans earlier this year. Unfortunately, the startup company was not able to meet the demand that it managed to get from ads and other leaks about the device.

The OnePlus One smartphone is also popular for its high-end specs but affordable price tag of not more than $400. Considering that the Samsung Galaxy S5 cost almost $700 when it was released, it was definitely a breath of fresh air.

However, the company failed to make enough units to mee the demand and be shipped to markets where it should be available, particularly in China.

Now that the OnePlus One release date is slowly rolling out, but still with limited units, it may not get the same attention it has been getting through the past months.

Earlier today, Samsung unleashed its newest Galaxy Note 4 phablet and it is easy to say that this is the best smartphone manufactured by the Korean tech giant.

The phone packs a 5.7-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, and a 32GB built-in memory.

While the Note 4 is certainly on the expensive and premium side of the market, people who are saving up for a high-end smartphone that will be of service for them for the next couple of years will certainly give this one a shot.

Sony, Xiaomi, Huawei, Motorola, HTC and Lenovo also have their respective devices to be launched anytime soon. This will only make things worse for OnePlus as it will soon struggle to sell its smartphones no matter how high-end or affordable they may be.

For Steve Wozniak and company, this is certainly a lesson they can learn from. As a company, OnePlus should be more prepared in case they plan on making a successor, but because a lot of people are not taking them seriously anymore, they better be more dedicated in regaining that trust.
