Sofia Vergara's net worth reportedly increased as the actress' earning for this year alone amounted to $37 million, compared to last year's $30 million.

The 42-year-old Vergara reportedly earned $325,000 for every episode of the ABC comedy show "Modern Family."

But the magazine explained that while her earnings as an actress are large, much of her net worth can be linked to the profit she gets from endorsements. Vergara is an ambassador for brands like Head & Shoulders, Cover Girl, Diet Pepsi, At&T, and Synthroid.

The actress is also reportedly business savvy, as she co-founded Latin World Entertainment - a multi-million dollar talent management and entertainment marketing firm. She also ventured into perfumery and launched her own line earlier this year.

The Colombian-born actress' earnings was reportedly higher than Ashton Kutcher's, who tops the list of highest paid actors for 2014 who earned $26 million.

Mariska Hargitay, star of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," comes second to Vergara with a total earnings amounting to $13 million.

Next to Hargitay is Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who recently got tagged in the massive celebrity nude photo hack. Cuoco-Sweeting reportedly earned $11 million. The actress is said to be paid at $1 million for every episode of "The Big Bang Theory."

Emmy-winning actress Julianna Margulies of "The Good Wife," is tied with "Grey's Anatomy"'s Ellen Pompeo and "How I Met Your Mother"'s Cobie Smulers at an estimated $10 million each.

Mindy Kaling of "The Mindy Project" came in at number 7 at $6.5 million, while Lena Dunham, creator of "Girls," reportedly earned $3.5 million.

Sofia Vergara's net worth, as well as those of the actors included in the list were determined by estimating their pre-tax earnings from June 2013 to June 2014.
