Mega Sharpedo Confirmed? New Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire Trailer Excite ORAS Mega Evolution Fans!

A brand new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer has been unveiled, giving fans new hope for a Mega Evolution for Sharpedo.

From the trailer, we get new gameplay footage of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, including the act of diving, popularized in the Hoenn generation. In addition, we also see glorious animations for the new Mega Evolutions of ORAS.

But, in addition to the confirmed Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there is a brief screenshot of a submarine for Team Aqua. Many fans believe the designs hint at a Mega Evolution for Sharpedo.

"Mega Sharpedo confirmed, Water/Steel type," commented MarkoXY on PokeJungle.

"OK, I'm certain now," tweeted FredrugerTheOne on Twitter. "Sharpedo is getting a Mega Evolution. It's happening. I'll give you my life on that."

The rumors of a Mega Sharpedo have existed since a Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer highlighted Archie and Maxie of Team Magma and Team Aqua. Although it is unconfirmed, some observers have noted that you can see Archie's Mega Stone on his glove, and Maxie's Mega Stone on his glasses.

If this is true, that means that they could both potentially hold Mega Evolutions in their Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire teams.

Most recently, Mega Slowbrow and Mega Audino were confirmed for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Reportedly, Mega Slowbro remains a Water/Psychic dual-type, but gains the Shell Armor ability. It will also have boosted Defense and Special Attack.

Meanwhile, Mega Audino will be a Normal/Fairy dual-type with the Healer ability, and will have increased Defense and Special Defense.
