Pokemon Distribution Events Update: Shiny Beldum And Gengar Event For X And Y Before Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire

Several updates have surfaced on Pokemon distribution events in Japan.

For those of you in love with Mega Evolution, a very special distribution event is being offered in Japan as part of the promotion for Halloween.

Reportedly, a Level 25 Shiny Gengar will be available in stores in Japan with the moves Shadow Ball, Sludge Wave, Confuse Ray and Astonish. It will hold a Gengarite. This distribution event will run from September 13 to October 14.

Recently, Serebii has confirmed the stores which will hold this very special shiny Pokemon distribution event. The stores are: Apita/Paigo, Ion, Ion SuperCenters, Ito-Yokado, Edion, Joshin, Toys 'R' Us, Bic Group Stores, Yamada Denki Group stores, Yodobashi Camera and the Pokémon Centers across Japan.

Meanwhile, there has been an update on the upcoming shiny Beldum distribution event.

"As a special gift for those who purchase Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire shortly after launch, a special Shiny Beldum holding a Mega Stone will be available," says the official Pokemon website. "By raising this Beldum, you will be able to evolve it all the way into a Shiny Mega Metagross! This is your chance to get a powerful Mega-Evolved Pokémon right away and in a very rare form!"

Reportedly, this distribution event will run from November 21 until January 14.
