Moto 360 Release Date: Android Wear Smartwatch With Gorgeous And Sleek Design Sold Out In Online Stores In The US, Should Be Available In Some Brick-And-Mortar Outlets By Sept. 14

The Moto 360 release date is earlier today at 12nn EST at Motorola's online store. But even before that time, the device has allegedly gone on sale already in Best Buy's online store.

And now, thousands of consumers are complaining that stocks for the device in Motorola's online store, Best Buy, and Google's Play Store are now gone.

According to an update by Android Police, Best Buy mentioned that the Moto 360 would be on hand in their brick and mortar stores starting on September 14. But that is still more than a week from now, and a lot of Android Wear fans are already itching to get their hands on the gorgeous-looking smartwatch.

The device has recently been announced and consumers are already waiting for the actual release date. However, just when they thought that they had already purchased the product online, they either encountered an error or were taken back a couple of pages because of insufficient stocks.

Announced during the I/O event last June, the Moto 360 is among the first smartwatches to get a rounded display instead of the rectangular and square-ish designs in recent wearables particularly that of Samsung, Sony and LG.

Some of the specs of the Moto 360 include a stainless steel case, a rubber or leather band, a 1.56" LCD backlit display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, water resistance, 4GB of internal memory and a 512MB RAM.

Also on board are a pedometer, a heart rate monitor, wireless charging compatibility and a 320mAh battery that promises a day of 'mixed' use.

Now that the Moto 360 is out, and poised to take the wearable market by storm, Motorola should probably replenish its stocks soon. Next week, Apple will unveil its iPhone 6 and its rumored iWatch device, and by that time, Moto 360 could lose all the momentum it has gained through the months.
