G.R.L. Singer and "X Factor" alum Simone Battle died on Friday and some celebritites paid tribute.

The 25-year-old singer Simone Battle was reportedly found dead in her West Hollywood home on Friday morning.

According to TMZ, a source from the Los Angeles County Coroner's office reportedly claimed that Battle died of an apparent suicide, as her body was found hanging in her bedroom's closet rod.

While the results of the autopsy will not be out until Sunday and there had been no formal statement made as to what caused Battle's death, there is an outpour of sympathy and emotion about the sudden demise of the young singer.

In a report on The Daily Mail, Battle's father Anthony, who was said to be the one to have seen the singer's dead body, gave a statement about her daughter's death.

"She will be greatly missed and loved," said Mr. Battle to The Daily Mail. "She was an exuberant person and a very loved person."

A joint statement from Reign Deer Entertainment, Kemosabe Records and RCA Records was released and delivered by Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin.

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L.," the statement read. "Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time."
