Terminator 5 Leaked Plot & Sequel Confirmed! Will Rumors About Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Replacing Arnold Schwarzenegger Come To Life?

Following the recently concluded shooting of Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Terminator" 5, rumors about a possible sequel soon arise.

Schwarzenegger just unveiled the new title and plot of his upcoming cyborg film as he posted a thank you letter to the crew and actors who has worked with him in the movie on his Instagram account.

"Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back."

According to Variety, two more untitled sequels were confirmed by Paramount, scheduled for release on May 19, 2017 and June 29, 2018.

Paramount is partnered with David Ellison's Skydance on the rebooted franchise, which launched in 1984 with James Cameron directing Arnold Schwarzenegger as the iconic cyborg.

As reported by the entertainment publication, cast members Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee and J.K. Simmons are all returning for the sequels to reprise their roles.

However, rumor has it that lead star Arnold Schwarzenegger and WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are up for a movie team up, following the former Governor's statement during one of Johnson's web interview.

"I just came here to congratulate Dwayne, but you just gave me a great idea for a movie. I would love to do a movie with Dwayne - the Oak and the Rock - it couldn't be more perfect.

Anyway, congratulations Dwayne. The movie looks fantastic and I can tell you know what's best in life. Let's get together soon and share sword stories."

The Rock on the other hand, took to Twitter to thank his pal posting,

"Awesome #HERCULESMovie comments from my bud @Schwarzenegger Look forward to swappin' sword stories," he tweeted.

While, it's too early to tell whether the two action superstars are going to team up in a movie, it's exciting to think that they could star in a sequel of "Terminator" 5 perhaps?
