Garth Brooks Tour 2014; County Superstar Garth Brooks Opens ` The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood’ In Chicago; Announces Supercatalog Record Release

Garth Brooks kicked off his "The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood" comeback tour in Chicago last week, the first of 11 shows planned for the area.

The country music superstar broke a 13-year performing hiatus with concert in Rosemont  by announcing  "If you want a place, guaranteed to have a great time, you want a place where people who get up and sing at the top of their lungs, Chicago is the place."

Garth Brooks announced comeback plans in December. He may be the top selling Nielsen Soundscan artist of all time, but in Chicago, Brooks was still the guy in the Stetson hat with the head-set microphone and faded jeans.

The pair put did a duo on their 1997 hit single "In Another's Eyes."  Before he started the tour on September 4, Brooks opened up about his wife and tour mate, Trisha Yearwood, saying his band members "stand up a little taller" when comes onstage to sing. Brooks said "I can't stand to spend a day without her."

Brooks recently unveiled GhostTunes.com, a new online music store that will see the digital debut of the "Brooks Bundle," which will feature Garth's complete catalog, including the pre-order of his two upcoming albums.

The new double live 25th Anniversary Edition features 30 songs along with 30 videos, an instant download of the new single, "People Loving People" and the bonus track, "Send 'Em On Down The Road." Other songs from Garth's upcoming album will automatically arrive in a user's GhostTunes locker as they become available prior to the arrival of the complete digital album on Black Friday, as well as an additional 2015 Garth Brooks album.

"When I decided it was time to 'go digital' I didn't find an existing way that really fit how I wanted to do it," said Garth Brooks. "I shared my dream with some amazing minds and together have created something really special - GhostTunes.com.
