Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Lumia 830 Hitting AT&T In The US, Boasts Snapdragon 400, 10MP PureView Shooter, 1GB RAM

One of the upcoming Nokia phones for 2014 has recently made its debut at the IFA showcase last week in Berlin, and its midrange specs, sleek design and affordable price tag have certainly captured the attention of Nokia and WP diehard fans.

And it looks like the phone will be making its way to the US market sooner rather than later.

According to a report by GSM Arena, local carrier AT&T has officially announced that the new Microsoft-Nokia smartphone will be available with the network. That means interested buyers may be able to enjoy a much lower cost for the smartphone, on a two-year contract.

Launched at the IFA event, the Lumia 830 is a compromise between the Nokia Lumia 930's high-end specs and pricing, and a midranger that offers some unique specs of its own.

Like other midrangers in the market, the Lumia 830 will boast only a 1GB RAM, a Snapdragon 400 chipset, quad-core CPU, and 16GB of internal memory.

The screen will feature a 5-inch display with HD or 1280 x 720 resolution, which should be enough for this scree size.

Fortunately, Nokia was able to include a better 10MP PureView camera with CarlZeiss optics which in theory would perform better than other midrange cameras in the market today.

Aside from the impressive rear shooter, there is also a 0.9MP front cam for selfies. The Lumia 830 is powered by Windows Phone 8.1, and runs on a 2,200mAh battery juice.

Availability and pricing details are expected to be unveiled soon.
