'Fate/Stay Night' Updates: Multiple Country Simultaneous Release Announced, New ‘Fate/Stay Night’ Anime Simulcast By Hulu And Crunchyroll

Not too long ago, North American Otakus would have to wait weeks, perhaps months, to view anime from Japan. Thankfully, it is now the age of simulcasts, and fans all over the globe will get to experience the newest version of "Fate/Stay Night" at the same time. Today it was announced that there will be a simultaneous premiere screenings of the new anime, including Los Angeles. Moreover, any last minute doubts about the series air date can be put to rest as the first half of the new anime will premiere October 4th in Japan.

Anime News Network reports, "The official website for ufotable's ‘Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works' television anime announced on Wednesday that premiere screenings of the anime will be held in seven different locales: Japan's Tokyo, Osaka, and Tokushima prefecture, Los Angeles, California in the United States, Paris, France, Nuremberg, Germany, and Seoul, South Korea. All seven screenings will be held at the same time on September 28."

This is great news for fans near those cities and anyone with the travel means. No official information has been announced in regards to tickets in areas other than Japan, but with the premiere date fast approaching, there will probably be more information soon.

Speaking of premiere dates, the "Fate/stay Night" Unlimited Blade Works TV anime version has an official air date for Japan. Fans can expect the series to roll out on October 4th at midnight. The first half of the new series will run for a couple of weeks and the second half will then be released in April of 2015. The series will be simulcast (also starting October 4th) by Hulu and Crunchyroll, so North American fans can be assured that even if they can't make the premiere screenings, they'll still get to enjoy the episodes at the same time as other fans.
