The Good Wife Season 6 Spoilers: Alicia And Finn, Diane Moving To Florrick-Agos, And Eli's Mission To Have Alicia Run For State's Attorney

"The Good Wife" season 6 is nearly upon us, and spoilers regarding the cast of characters have surfaced.

First, "The Good Wife" season 6 premiere will feature newcomer Finn Polmar, and according to spoilers by TVLine, will determine his dynamic with Alicia.

Reportedly, Finn's "pitbull-like" presence in the season 6 opener will determine whether he will get close to Alicia the same way as the dearly departed Will Gardner.

Meanwhile, Alicia will also be busy processing Eli's decision to have Alicia run for state's attorney, and Peter Florrick's feelings on the matter will play a small role in the dynamic of their "political" marriage.

"There’s an incredible respect they have for each other, for their minds, and politically, and as lawyers,” said Julianna Margulies. “But I think in the last scene of ‘The Last Call,’ when Alicia closes her eyes, [it’s similar] to when she slaps [Peter's] face in the pilot. It was like a slap for her to wake up."

"I feel like her closing her eyes was her way of saying, ‘I have wasted my time with this guy, and I’m not going to let that happen again.’ I don’t know how you repair the damage that’s done without it constantly rearing its ugly head. I don’t think you can.”

And finally, spoilers have surfaced regarding Diane Lockhart transitioning to a downscale Florrick-Agos. Reportedly, she will struggle with the state of the new law firm, especially when a homeless man (Danny Hock) uses the firm's bathroom "as a poor man's shower."

This season, for Diane, is about she can help Florrick-Agos grow into a powerful firm, “and whether she can do it better and possibly with more of her ideals intact."
