Andrew Garfield Talks His ‘Sexy’ Mountain Man Beard And Girlfriend Emma Stone At TIFF

Andrew Garfield fielded questions about everything from his growing mountain man beard to his girlfriend Emma Stone at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Andrew Garfield, director Ramin Bahrani, and co-star Michael Shannon were promoting the upcoming film, "99 Homes."

It's safe to say Andrew Garfield was not in the best of moods at the "99 Homes" press conference at TIFF.

"A beard's a beard and this is one of them," a "disdainful-looking" Garfield told a foreign reporter, after he asked whether the facial hair was for a role or a personal choice, The Star reports.

"It may, it may, yeah, possibly," Garfield added. "We'll talk about that later when we're not wasting other people's time."

Bahrani then teased (in a whisper, due to his illness at TIFF) that Andrew Garfield's girlfriend and "Amazing Spider-Man 2" co-star Emma Stone might be his beard, referring to the term for a romantic partner used to hide one's true sexual orientation.

Garfield nodded along with the joke, "yeah, no, she's my beard."

Andrew Garfield was once again pressed about his girlfriend Emma Stone. But the famously private actor simply said, "We'll talk about that later," and refused to look at the reporter.

Emma Stone is also at TIFF, promoting her new film, "Birdman." We hope she's in a better mood than her beau.

The "Amazing Spider-Man 3" actor has been working on his beard all summer long - in July, he was spotted walking down the NYC streets with his girlfriend and he had quite the bushy beard growing already!
